Week 38 Spotlight: Emotion, Voice & Mastery

It’s week 38 and entries have been trooping in.
Artists are bringing in their best while expressing themselves in the best possible way. I guess we'd like to see some of those artists in the spotlight.

I like the music background—an obvious effort was put into the recording of this cover. She owned the song and personalized it as though it were hers. Her voice had this mature taste about it—the type you could repeat over and over again. She's my number one entry for this week.

This cover is a cool, composed one that draws us into a world where we reminisce on life. She brought the emotions to the stage. Her voice passed a message across—one that could be read by all. She's got a good vocal range with beautiful control. Beautiful mastery there.

Ever heard of the phrase "language is never a barrier"? Well, this was the case in this beautiful entry. His voice was nothing short of an embodiment of emotions. You could hear the pain in his voice. He gave it his all and yes, I put it on repeat a couple of times because I felt what he felt—although I couldn't get a grasp on the translation of the words. That’s just evidence that he's a great artist. I’ll rate him a 9.5, and he's my second-best pick for this week (week 38).

A lot of other artists brought their A-game to the table, but these 3 caught my eyes so badly I couldn't take them off. Well, let's wait for the end so we get a chance to put our favourite picks in the top 15 and, of course, the ultimate goal—top 6.
