Reddit Cryptocurrency Subreddit Competition?

Had a thought about moons and their similarity with Hive's value proposition. Obviously you lose some of the advantages of being a fully decentralised blockchain, and earning for upvoting content, but the ease of posting and earning moons vs. Hive's somewhat difficult on boarding process makes me think that it could be a valid competitor to Hive's market area.

What are people's opinion on Moons? Think they're a threat to Hive? Or possibly good for Hive as they introduce the idea of earning money for using social media but leave people wanting more.
