Appreciating the good or favor done towards us is of great importance. Many are losing out in opportunities that would have come their way because they are ungrateful. A saying goes thus, “if you are not grateful, then you are a great-fool”

Many thinks the act of kindness or goodness they have enjoyed/benefitted is their entitlement, so favor comes their way once in a while. Some who have learnt and embrace the act of showing appreciation have benefitted more where they don’t qualify for it. Another saying is that “when you are thankful, then your tank will be full”. A tank is a reservoir, meaning even when you don’t need it, you still have in abundance.

Research as shown that gratitude is beneficiate to in some ways. It sets us free from unhealthy emotions, it has a lasting effect on our brain, it helps to appreciate people’s effort no matter how small or little because of that people will love to favor such you.
