UNI-CORN 🦄+🌽

Here's my entry and how it is done for @jacinta.sevilla's Easy Mini Drawing Contest #2.

It was stated on the contest guidelines that we should be creative and I made some research of what I should draw. This concept of Uni-Corn caught my attention and I just have to make it cute hoping I could pull it off.

Materials needed? 🤔

Paper
Pencil
Color Pencils
Black Pen (for outlining)
An Editing App

To start, Grab you paper📋 and pencil✏️ then sketch your desired design. And here's what I designed for this contest 😊

Next is that I started coloring what I sketched using Color Pencils. From light to dark I rendered slowly but surely.

I used the color Yellow, Light Brown, Three Shades of Green, and Darker Brown.

First color I used for this drawing is Yellow but not that much. I didn't covered all what is meant to be yellow to show depth effect.

Then I used Light Brown for its darker parts. Though it wasn't that much Light Brown used it still show some good effects.

So I then colored the green parts using different shades of green from light to dark. Now I can already see how it would look like.

And then I used the darker brown for its legs. I used dark brow so that it will go well with the color yellow on its body.

After filling all the sketch with color, I then fill it all with outline for more details. This is the fun part since I need to be accurate with the details.

After all the coloring and outlining the drawing here's what it looks like. I added minor details to make it more a bit cute.

Editing Time 😁

So I used the Lightroom CC App and show you what I adjusted on the photo to get the result I wanted. Editing is quite easy to do using this app so I'm going to include some photos that explains it all.

Here's what I did. 😊 adjusting brightness and colors. None much editing, Just enhanced the photo a little bit.

And so here's the final resort and my entry for this contest 😁
