Greetings Hive Open Mic friends 🎤 🙋🏻‍♀️ for this week 161 I share with you a song I wrote a while ago. A song that I had to remember and reconstruct one of the verses.

Este tema trata sobre el Espíritu Santo, el enviado por Dios para acompañarnos, para guiarnos y mostrarnos el camino de la justicia y la paz.

This theme is about the Holy Spirit, the one sent by God to accompany us, to guide us and show us the way to justice and peace.

Les comparto un poquito de la historia de esta canción. No es de las primeras que he creado pero sí de las que he plasmado en papel, con música e incluso presentación y hasta grabación de manera sencilla. La canción la escribí en un encuentro llamado "Escuela de discípulos" realizada en Ciudad Guayaba hace unos cuantos años.

I share with you a little bit of the history of this song. It is not one of the first songs I have created but it is one of the songs I have put on paper, with music and even presentation and even recording in a simple way. I wrote the song in a meeting called "Escuela de discípulos" (School of disciples) held in Ciudad Guayaba a few years ago.

En la escuela de discípulos habían cinco áreas para practicar y recibir formación, estas eran: danza, teatro, lenguaje de señas, medios digitales y música. Aunque era muy penosa, me inscribí en música porque era y es el arte que más me apasiona. Al estar en el grupo, una de las actividades constaba en hacer equipos y escribir una canción que pudieran presentar en una actividad final, donde todos los jóvenes mostrarían sus talentos y aprendizajes.

In the discipleship school there were five areas to practice and receive training in: dance, theater, sign language, digital media and music. Although it was very painful, I enrolled in music because it was and is the art that I am most passionate about. When I was in the group, one of the activities consisted of making teams and writing a song that they could present in a final activity, where all the young people would show their talents and learning.

No fue tan sencillo, pero sí fue bastante lindo. Apenas era una pequeña adolescente, me sentía súper entusiasmada, nerviosa y emocionada. Era genial tener una canción propia para dedicar a Dios en su Santo Espíritu.

It wasn't that easy, but it was pretty cool. I was just a little teenager, I was super excited, nervous and thrilled. It was great to have a song of my own to dedicate to God in His Holy Spirit.

Consuelo del cielo

Nuevamente gracias a @cesarmarcano por su ayuda, por su apoyo, por atreverse a darle vida a esa música que inició como un sueño bonito y que hoy me genera una sonrisa sincera por la historia e importancia del tema para mi vida.
