Family a great thing

Family bonds
Anyone can be called family due to your connection, experience and bond with the person
In school we taught that family is defined as a group of people related by blood adoption or ties
You do not necessarily have to be related to you by blood for you to call someone family

Family bonds brings family members together , brings people together and helps them to share their experiences and live challenges at all times

In these life family bonds and connections are important
When things happen in your life and it’s feels like the world is against you, your family or people that you call family will never desert you they will stand by you through thick and thin
I have a story to share, I have a cousin at the age of 15 she got pregnant out of wedlock despite everyone advises till she made a mistake
What did we do ? We did not send her away we could not because she’s family though she did something bad , she behaved contrary to our values and expectations, we took her in
We scolded her and that was all
Even when the guy that was responsible said he wants to take responsibility for the pregnancy we refused after giving it some thought we agreed after a month of staying with the guy and his family she came home saying she didn’t want to stay with we agreed
She stayed with us till she gave birth to her child
That’s what family can do for each other
They support each other and encourage each other
I did not grow up with my family but in all my years living with different people/families I try as much as possible to maintain the bond we share by communicating with them, respecting them and valuing their opinions
Every of my family members opinions matter whether you are big or small
We might be together or in the same place all the time but we have lots of memories to share
