Valencia hosted the conference on the implementation of stablecoins in venezuelan business
Hello, my people at Digital Lifestyle! I attended this event as a journalist invited to cover the activity. In the Venezuelan market, there is currently a high demand for addressing these types of topics that provide solutions and answers to business owners, because, facing the devaluation of the Bolívar and the scarcity of dollars, companies in the country are looking for alternatives for backing and accessing the American currency, and that is where USDT comes in.
The conference was structured into two main blocks, morning and afternoon, with the participation of a panel of experts in various areas. The morning session focused on the economic and accounting aspects of crypto assets. Lic. Jan Domínguez addressed "Accounting in the age of Crypto," Econ. Daniel Peláez explained "How to buy USDT and USDC," and Lic. Miguel Vecchionacce presented a "Case Study on the use of USDT."
The afternoon block focused on the regulatory framework and technological fundamentals. Attorney Sergio Córdova analyzed the "Legal Framework of Crypto Assets," Iván León spoke about "What is USDT, USDC and other Crypto," and Eng. Aníbal Garrido introduced the concepts of "The Blockchain for Beginners." The event was organized by Miguel Alfredo and InnoValencia, and sought to offer essential tools and knowledge for local businesses to understand and integrate stablecoins into their operations.
As a journalist specializing in the cryptocurrency beat, it's incredible to see how more and more people are joining this trend, looking not only to benefit but also to learn and get the most out of this technology that is here to stay.
