Revisemos cómo va el libro, el capítulo I de El patro Bitcoin inicia hablando sobre el problema que viene a resolver Bitcoin: “cómo mover valor económico a través del tiempo y del espacio”.

Sin embargo, el autor no ahonda en el tema Bitcoin sin estudiar primero qué es el dinero revisando su función y su historia.

Ammous se pasea por términos como trueque, que ha existido desde siempre en las sociedades humanas, sin embargo, el escritor plantea que es poco versátil y solo permanece en circunstancias excepcionales y plantea la solución del instrumento de cambio que se denomina dinero.

En este primer capítulo asegura además que la principal razón de que un bien sea adoptado con libertad como moneda en el mercado y según se plantea en el libro, se trata de la vendibilidad, según Carl Menger, padre de la Escuela Austriaca de Economía.

En el segundo capítulo el autor se va más a la historia para hablar de esos objetos que han sido utilizados por el hombre como forma de pago, un ejemplo de ello es la sal, las conchas marinas o las cuentas de vidrio.

El libro es sin duda una referencia obligada para cualquiera que quiera iniciar en este mundo de la Web3
