Freedom Seekers La Nasa Family: Truly live the Freedom Lifestyle! (Part 1)

It all started with a couple with one toddler, two pugs, four suitcases and eight boxes. Lisa and Brad elude the traditional American way of living with the big house, white picket fence, 2 cars, long commutes, and little daily adventure or new discoveries. They began their expat journey with an exploratory trip to Montevideo, Uruguay and Buenos Aires, Argentina with a then 3-month-old baby that led to several more travels. They took the leap and moved abroad, initially to South America for several years where their second child was born. They are currently residing in Valencia, Spain with their two lovely daughters.

Lisa and Brad’s love for travel is uncontainable. The fact that Lisa was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2002 didn’t stop them from exploring and living in four countries on three continents and visiting many more, including a hike through Thailand 6 weeks after her initial diagnosis. Through her blog (https://www.diaverge.com/), Lisa’s goal is to help others with diabetes to improve their lives through low-carb eating and healthy living.
