Homemade Gajar halwa

Hello everyone how are you I hope all are you doing well

Today I made Gajar Halwa. I got all the ingredients. First, I peeled and boiled the carrots until they were soft for a nice texture.

Then I heated milk, added sugar once it was hot, followed by almond paste, dry fruits and the soft carrots. I let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally till the milk reduced and it thickened. Then I turned off the flame, let it cool a bit garnished with almond flakes, and refrigerated it 😊. Can't wait to dig in

Then I cleaned the kitchen, put everything back in place, and wiped the floor. After that, I went to the drawing room, and suddenly craved coffee 😅. Went back to the kitchen, but didn't have enough coffee supplies, so made green tea instead 🍵. Grabbed some dry fruits and settled by the heater to warm up. Watched TV, sipped tea, and relaxeed

Then I brought some halwa to taste. Mashallah, it was super yummy I was like 'my cooking's on point now 😄 Called my mom, told her everything, and she was like you weren't doing anything there, now you've learned everything 😏. I was giggling, said yeah, mama, things come together with time' 😊

The cold was so intense, I didn't feel like getting up, so I'd just sit by the heater, munching on maggies 😋. I've got a stash of mixed snacks for myself, grab whatever I crave - dairy milk, chocolate chip toffees... When those run out, I get a bit bored 😅. Craving something different every now and then, you know

The sad part is, I can't study these days 😔. Pick up a book, Amara grabs it, puts it in her mouth , pages go in too - not exactly ideal . So I barely pick up books now. When sleepy, I have a million tasks, rush to finish 'em so I don't fall asleep . Then when I'm free, it's like time to get up . Amara's sleep's not full either, poor thing doesn't know day from night . Should I sleep the whole night or... she keeps waking up

The lady from Pary came by, brought white mawa my fave. Asked if she wants tea she said 'just quick, gotta serve everyone Told her oknext time then', she said 'sure I tasted it... hmm, super yummy
