I find it funny how often graboids (gun control proponents) often praise and celebrate the actions of armed individuals that stop monsters. Monsters that aren't deterred or stopped by laws, restrictions, or smug rhetoric. It happened at the knife attack at London Bridge, at Bataclan, the Congressional baseball attack... I could go on and on.

There are some instances where unarmed individuals make the difference as well. What doesn't make the difference is counting on rules and laws to stop people intent on murder, or assuming that you have no interest or need to protect yourself.
