Youtube reviwers

Not sure why but for some reason I have grown very addicted to watching people react to hiphop music. Whenever is because it tries to bridge a generational gap, or is because they come from a completely different music genre like country or metal, or simply because they listen to new hiphop and are trying to go back to the 'golden era'.

In part this is a bit selfish as I look for people with the same affirmations that I have, and that is that the 90s was the best era of hiphop and looking for a way to listen to my favorite tracks but somehow getting validated by someone else.

Regardless of the reason I will list some of the people that I have been reacting to.

• KingAmadTV - this is the one I mostly check out because he puts a lot of content and there is always something new to watch.
• King Guap - He used to go very strong but then he slow down and his reactions have been almost none existent lately. However there is a good catalog of very nice tracks. Also fun to see him doing 180 on many groups and rappers, like NAS and Wu-Tang.
• A Boomer reacts - Classic old white guy that knew nothing about hiphop and start learning how rich this genre is.
• Jack Reacts - Not just hiphop, he has a lot of music that he reacts to, sort of the most mellow type.
• Vegas Ron - Sort of a newcomer, and still getting used to his style, however good tracks.
• Ebony JB - Very nice reactions off the very grimey underground hiphop. Sort of modern albums as opposed to the general trend of old school.
• TheFrontRoom - young adult and his dad reacts to some old school hiphop. The 'bridging the gap' type.
• Frodo_ Tbaggins_ - Sort of slow downed now but used to be a very big reactor specially to Wu-Tang albums.
• TwoDudesFromMaine - They react to a lot of alternative hiphop specially killah priest, and are very introspective on it.
• All Things Nath - British cat reacting to hiphop, he is a fun one with all the journey to get used to the slang. However he pause too much IMO.
• Just Jammin' - He reacts a TON of content, used to be strictly hiphop but he do other stuff now. His reactions are sort of slow thought.
• Delta Vision - MAM reacts, old aussie lady reacting to hiphop makes sort of a very entertaining mix.
• Kofi's Universe - He created a lot of content and now is very diversified, not just hiphop songs.
• JAMFamily - As long as you don't mind the poor quality he did react to really great tracks, although not as active as he once was, last post was from a year ago.

There are many more that I didn't put but most are no longer very active, and there are always new ones popping up. The only criticism I will talk about is that most of the reactors keep reacting to the same tracks and very few explore the whole artist/group/album and venture to the hidden gem tracks that didn't get a video or budget to get some sort of airplay.

With a fanfare that only know about the hits and the videos, it doesn't really help to get away from that formula, so you will keep listening to 2pac - Keep Ya Head up and Wu-Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M., but wont listen to Hell Wind Staff or Tearz.
