Today I want to share my second inktober piece, the prompt for this piece was "Tranquil"

For this piece I wanted to do this girl or entity that was almost floating and glowing.

I used my Liquitex ink in Turquoise deep for the girl and then darkened the area around her by diluting my black ink and painting it on.

I thought this piece looked very calm and I really had fun putting a ton of detailing into the hair. It is very long and flowing and I got to put lots of swirly lines in to look like the strands of hair.

But it seems to be a pattern for me to draw girls with really long flowy hair for inktober because I drew a similar piece for last years inktober.

But if I compare the two I can definitly see that I have improved.
