Always dream for good qualities,
And not make dreams your master.
Always think good and not make thoughts your aim,
In case you meet with triumph and disaster.

Always bear to hear the truth you have spoken,
Though twisted by knives to make a trap for fools.
Always watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stop and build them up with worn out tools.

Try to risk it on one turn or toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings.
With breathing a word about your loss,
Always talk with crowds and keep your virtue.

Either walk with kings nor lose common touch,
Then neither foes neither friends can hurt you.
If all men count with you,
But none too much.
