Admiral John Lie
Admiral John Lie, the first Chinese-Indonesian sea Marshall honoured as National Hero. He learned about navigation in Dutch school in Batavia then join the firstly Indonesian Navy.
He succeeded to sweep the sea mines putted by the Japanese allover Cilacap. Then he use his own boat named 'Outlaw' to escort Indonesian convoy to smuggle some of commodity to be sold in Singapore or to be changed with weapon to support Indonesia's war of Independence. Later his boat was inagurated as one of Navy's fleet.
