Burj Khalifa, Dubai

I had a layover in Dubai for 9 hours, so I ventured out into the city to take a look at the Burj Khalifa. From several kilometres away at the airport, it already looked quite impressive. To be honest, I couldn't quite believe how tall it is! It's really quite an amazing accomplishment of engineering and art. I've been to the 83rd floor of the Petronas Towers, but I couldn't quite feel the urge to pay the $100 to visit the observation deck at the 148th floor on this visit, at least. It was impressive enough from the ground. These photos don't really capture just how massive it really is.
