She liked me – that’s without a doubt
At the bottom of the stairs with her camera out.
I met her at the county fair, a buxom gal
With golden hair. Pearly whites and a smile so sweet
I took her all in from that top stair.

But tripping or falling is extremely rare
So, tell me God of all the times to send
A gust to blow my cap end over end.

I grab for my cap instead of the railing
