Officiating Intense Semi-Final Games in Mabolo, Cebu City

Good day hivers !
Just sharing my journey as a referee in officiating intense semifinal games Barangay Mabolo , Cebu City.
In Semifinal game , the intensity of the game is like championship game because every team wanted to advance in the finals . So, they really wanted to win. Once the team advances to finals , only two option outcomes , either to become champion or second . So, either team will be receiving sure prizes ,that is why, reaching the championship game is the goal for every team .

On May 28, @ 5:45 PM , there were four games scheduled in which all games are semifinals . People there in Mabolo were line up at entrance to watch the exciting games . Entrance fee is 10 pesos per head . The gym is wide enough to accommodate attendants . The gym was fully occupied by viewers and it was getting hot inside the gym .
People where started cheering to support their team and it was very noisy .

These basketball games were the remaining entertainment of Barangay Mabolo after their fiesta celebration .
So, most of the residents have no other enjoyments except to watch basketball. The gym was very crowded , almost no more space for seating.
First game was a good match up under junior category . It was anybody's ball game. Parents and relatives were in the gym to support their son playing . The game was so closed with the highest leading score only 2 to 5 points . We, the referees were getting pressured and sweating because we must made accurate calls . We must be at the right place or area once we made a call to make it accurate and fulfilling for both teams .

After the intense game of junior category , people were getting outside of the gym and the crowd was reduced because the next game was senior category . People dont like to watch senior playing especially teenagers . They like to watch teenagers to play because they are fun to watch , the speed , the hassle plays and of course handsome players or very good players are mostly the attraction of youngsters.
