Pyth and the Blockchain

Cryptocurrencies, blockchain, smart contracts, algorithms, artificial intelligence and on and on! Get used to hearing these buzzwords as the world increasingly becomes more digital. At Pyth, we hope to integrate technology in our operational and marketing efforts.

As you may have gathered from our previous post, sustainability and supply chain provenance is important to Pyth so finding a platform to help build out that supply chain accountability was one of the first things we wanted to establish.

Doing some Google searching, i came across a company aptly named Provenance. After signing up on their website and having a quick 15-minute chat with two of their team members in London, we were on our way!

So here is our IPA listed on Provenance (had to change from PI IPA to Metatron since there is already a PI IPA out there...gotta love trademark law). The next step for this experiment to work is to get suppliers on board to build out the provenance network. We've sent a request to our local hops supplier...we shall see what happens!
