Fiber cable placement blowing method

Many people have used various methods to get cable through pipe or conduit. This method isn't often seen but is extremely effective.

Using smoothwall innerduct extensions secured to the existing conduit in the manhole system we bring out connections above ground. First we blow out, clean the pipe with a very large compressor. We send a large sponge and then some cable placement lubricant. On the end of the fiber we attached a gasket plug that will move but holds the air pressure. The blowing machine has a hydrolic belt that pushes the cable along and a special attachment that takes the compressor air and pushes it all along. In this picture we are receiving the fiber from 1000' feet away from another blowing setup and sending to yet another manhole.
