There's Always A First Time

I've had my little family now for about 7 years...And that means, wife and kids lol I've been married to my wife since 2015 and we did plenty of travelling when it was just us. But as soon as the kids got into the mix, it got hard to get away for a while.

The weekend 'getaway' was something of a dream over the past few years. Never having enough money, never having the time and never really getting a chance to do it. This weekend though, I got to take my family on a mini-vacation...

I'm writing this at 8am, while they are all still sleeping. And even though we have one more day in Calgary, Alberta...I thought it would be cool to share with you guys some photos of the city, the mountains and our time together.

During our first ever, family weekend getaway!

So far this weekend:

• We took in the Calgary Zoo
• Drove to Banff in the Canadian Rockies
• Spent some time at church on Sabbath
• Had some fantastic food, the kids loved the pizza
• Taking the C-Train around the city
