[Steem ecosystem is no more a blogging oriented ecosystem, its an application oriented ecosystem & it has redefined & reshaped its objective]-- How true is it in your view?

Personally I see this as being absolutely true. From steemit to esteem to Dtube to Dsound, the system ecosystem has grown beyond its original scale, shape and objective. And I'm certain that some may see this as a diversion from the original objective behind the establishment of the first dApp, steemit. But I strongly disagree and I'll explain why.

Originally steemit was designed to be a decentralised application where users could come and share their literary work with each other and be rewarded for it via curation rewards. It was a way to reward passion for the literary arts. Eventually users began posting more than just literary work. But there was just one problem with this objective. Literary work is not restricted to writing. Thus the advent of more dApps like Dtube and Dsound.

As I said earlier, people began posting more than just literary work and this led to the creation of more dApps that where less in line with the original purpose behind steemit. Such dApps were ActnEarn, steemitworldmap, etc. Then the dApps extended to gaming and from that it extended to even more fields. And here we are today with over 40 dApps and more being made every year. So has the system ecosystem changed, yes it has. Is the change bad, no it's not. The growth and establishment of the numerous dApps all with different uses has extended the use and application of the steem ecosystem to cover the needs of most, if not all, possible kinds of people. For almost everyone, there's a dApp you can use to solve one of your problems. Take me for example. I'm a college kid answering questions on Musing and saving up, SBD by SBD for my project next year. So it's a wonderful thing that the steem ecosystem's growth has brought about and that's my view on the matter
