Pen on paper
Jaundré van Breda
InkFish (2023) is a pen drawing on A3 paper. I used two different kinds of pens: gel and ballpoint. The gel pen works great for the darkest areas. The ballpoint pen is for shading.
This drawing is my work for an upcoming exhibition titled Under the Sea, which is organized and hosted by the Centurion Art Association (CAA) in the area where I reside.
InkFish is inspired by the early Cubism movement, as well as showing some Graffiti elements. I like to try different approaches in my art, as some of you can see. I hope you like this work, or, if I’m lucky, I hope it inspires some of you.
