"Half the Year Has Passed – What's Going On With Your Goals?"
What goals did you set at the beginning of the year?
My biggest hope at the beginning of the year was that the cryptocurrency market would perform well. I especially hoped that the value of Hive and the other crypto assets I own would increase. I believed that if the market improved, I would be able to achieve some of my financial goals more easily. I also planned to share quality content regularly on Hive and continue strengthening my account.
Another important goal was to find a good job so that I could stay financially active, become more independent, and avoid selling my crypto assets until they provide better returns.
Which goals have you achieved?
Unfortunately, my expectations for the cryptocurrency market were not fulfilled. However, I have managed to achieve one important thing, patience. I am still active on Hive and continue working to improve my skills. Through writing, photography, and participating in different communities, I have gained many valuable experiences.
Which goals are still unfinished, and why?
My goal of getting a job has not yet been achieved. These days, especially in Dhaka, starting a new job is not easy. The cost of living is quite high, while entry-level salaries are often relatively low. Because of this, choosing the right job requires careful consideration.
I also did not achieve the financial results I expected from the cryptocurrency market. As a result, many of the financial goals I set at the beginning of the year are still unfinished.
Have your priorities changed?
Yes, my priorities have changed to some extent. At the beginning of the year, I relied more on the cryptocurrency market. However, I have now realized that it is not wise to depend on only one source of income. That is why I am now giving equal importance to finding a job, exploring business opportunities, and improving my skills.
At the same time, I am still not completely sure whether I will pursue a job or start a business in the future. I believe that wherever Allah has written my rizq, that is where I will find the best opportunity.
What lessons have you learned so far?
The biggest lesson I have learned over the past few months is the importance of patience and accepting reality. Things do not always go according to plan, so it is important not to lose hope and to keep moving forward. Having alternative plans is also essential.
I have also learned that there is no substitute for improving your skills and working consistently. If you continue making an honest effort, better days will eventually come.
What are your goals for the rest of the year?
My main goal for the rest of the year is to find a good job or start something that can become a stable source of income in the long run. At the same time, I want to continue publishing quality content on Hive regularly and gradually increase my Hive Power.
Finally, I have complete faith in Almighty Allah. I believe that He will open the right path for me at the right time. Until then, I will continue learning, working hard, and making the best use of the rest of the year with a positive attitude.
