Oakatsu, Sri Hartamas
I really love going to Japanese restaurants, so is my close friend. Today we decided to try out a restaurant that we have never been to, Uokatsu at Sri Hatamas. I heard that their Mentai Rice is really good, and their sashimi is served with really fresh cuts as well.
We arrived the restaurant around 3pm, after lunch hour to avoid human traffic. The restaurant was really well maintained, as expected from a well reviewed place. I ordered the Mentai Rice and some grilled squid to go along with it. The wait for food didn’t really take that long, with the food arriving almost after less than 10 minutes of waiting. Well done!
The mentai rice was delicious, it looked really simple on the outside but the dish was cook beautifully. The rice, tasted really good as well for some reason, maybe some sort of prenium wheat. The grilled squid lived up to it’s reputation, being really fresh and seasoned nicely. The sauce that was served along the squids accompanied the dish really well too!
