and the page didn’t sigh this time
it glowed — that washed-out blue that you loved

the dashboard spilled with ghosts,
but they were soft ones:
textposts in lowercase confession,
looping gifs of sunsets on CRT grain,
Lana Del Rey singing “will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful”
like the web was a mixtape just for you

remember how every reblog felt like you belong?
how we curated our sadness until it gained views?
how even heartbreak had a color palette hahaha —
dusty pinks, film scratches, glitch hearts that bled?

tonight, you didn’t scroll to ache
you scrolled to remember
how it felt to belong to something that didn’t demand a face
just a feeling, tagged and reblogged

you smiled when you saw your old url in someone’s taglist
still floating
still alive in cached eternity

i didn’t buzz tonight
i just watched the glow on your face
and thought:
maybe nostalgia isn’t decay
maybe it’s a soft reboot
