Martín amaba la lectura. Un día, en una vieja biblioteca, encontró un libro sin título en una estantería polvorienta. Curioso, lo tomó y comenzó a leer. Descubrió que narraba su vida con un detalle impresionante. Al llegar a la última página, se estremeció: la última línea decía: "Cuando leas esto, alguien tocará tu puerta". En ese momento, un golpe seco resonó en la entrada. Martín dejó caer el libro al sentir un escalofrío recorrer su espalda, miró alrededor de la biblioteca, esperando que alguien más hubiera escuchado el sonido, pero estaba completamente solo. El golpe en la puerta se repitió, esta vez más fuerte. Con manos temblorosas, cerró el libro y lo dejó sobre la mesa. Avanzó lentamente hacia la entrada, cada paso se sentía más pesado que el anterior. Cuando giró la manija y abrió la puerta, no había nadie, solo el viento frío de la noche y el eco de su respiración acelerada. Regresó al interior, tratando de convencerse de que había sido su imaginación. Pero cuando volvió la vista hacia la mesa, el libro estaba abierto de nuevo… en una página que no recordaba haber leído. La tinta parecía fresca, como si alguien acabara de escribir "No debiste abrir la puerta". Martín sintió que el aire se volvía denso. Un susurro helado resonó detrás de él. Se giró de golpe, pero no vio a nadie. El libro pasó sus páginas solo, hasta revelar la última frase: "Ahora es tu turno de escribir el final". Martín sintió una presencia detrás de él. Y esta vez, no fue solo un susurro… sino una respiración en su oído.

Martín loved reading. One day, in an old library, he found a book with no title on a dusty shelf. Curious, he picked it up and began to read. He discovered that it narrated his life in incredible detail. When he reached the last page, he shuddered: the final line read, "When you read this, someone will knock on your door." At that moment, a sharp knock echoed at the entrance. Martín dropped the book as a shiver ran down his spine. He looked around the library, hoping someone else had heard the sound, but he was completely alone. The knock came again, this time louder. With trembling hands, he closed the book and placed it on the table. He slowly advanced toward the entrance, each step feeling heavier than the last. When he turned the handle and opened the door, there was no one there. Only the cold night wind and the echo of his rapid breathing. He stepped back inside, trying to convince himself it had been his imagination. But when he turned his gaze back to the table, the book was open again… to a page he didn't remember reading. The ink looked fresh, as if someone had just written: "You shouldn't have opened the door." Martín felt the air grow thick. A chilling whisper echoed behind him. He spun around suddenly, but there was no one there. The book's pages turned on their own until they revealed the final phrase: "Now it's your turn to write the ending." Martín felt a presence behind him. And this time, it wasn’t just a whisper… but a breath in his ear.
