Navigating the Learning Curve - Hello!
Hello! I'm Jess, and very very new to Hive/Ecency (read - welcome to my first post!). I'm navigating the learning curve with some success and I'm grateful to my friends 
I'd like to say I look like this all the time, but that would be lying! My friend and wonderful photographer took these for my for a branding shoot for (one of my) business(es).
My career and business path has been multi-faceted and occasionally bumpy, though now in my "advanced" 30's, I've finally settled into a place that makes me happy. I have an SMSF Administration business (that's 401k's and pensions for those not from Australia!) - not exactly riveting but rewarding when it comes to helping my clients - and my "start-up" - let's call it that! Or maybe it should be 'start over'. I was coaching for a few years, helping people with their marketing, though my soul was never truly fulfilled. Now I am unveiling what's really true for me, and that's helping women really love themselves fully and see their own perfection.
It's a work in progress and very close to my heart. Something else that is close to my heart is my Aussie Bulldog Luna 🐶
For many years I did pet sitting to make ends meet and I LOVED dogs. But that didn't prepare me for how much this 35kg ball of energy would steal my heart. Her full name is Luna Lovedog (Ahh, yes, I do like Harry Potter) named before I saw her and my nephew pointed out that she has a love heart on her back - she was meant for me. She'll be One next week and I'm trying to decide if a cake is too much... thoughts? 😂🤦♀️
My nephews and my brand new niece have the rest of my heart. 4 boys and 1 brand new baby girl. I adore them, love being the fun aunty and look forward to them slipping me champagne in the old people's home when I'm well into my 100's. I also LOVE giving them back. Kids are tiring y'all - I don't know you do it!
This is my eldest 'child', a little while ago now. As I go through my photos I see we need an update!
When I'm not doting over my family (or my dog!), you'll find me down by the beach (I'm lucky enough to live 500m away from it), at the cinema (I'll watch just about anything!), travelling (as much as we can these days, Cairns in 10 days 🤞🤞), studying (I'm doing my Diploma of Hypnotherapy) and enjoying as much yummy food with friends as I can.
I hope to share that with you here, along with my musings - I do love to write blogs it turns out (this is new to me!), so I'll share them here with you as well. Oh and I'm a sucker for games...
