Lilacs have got to be one of my favorite flowers. The pretty purple colors and powerful fragrance can inspire any of us. A really fun way to preserve their beauty is to paint them.

Sometimes, I run into people who think that because I am creating artwork through tutorials designed and taught by other artists that this somehow makes me not a 'real artist'.
Maybe you know one of these ART POLICE in your life?!
The art community can be very snobby. Maybe one day I will be a fine artist that sells her paintings for thousands of dollars and everybody wants to own an original Jennifer Sarah piece of art. Until then, I am having a lot of fun learning this way.
Do you create art? Congratulations, you are an Artist. No skills necessary for beginners. We are all in different stages of our journey.
Make pretty things and please don't forget to credit the original artists who designed the creation you made. They really like that!
