My favorite Meal

When it comes to food everyone around me knows I love food and won't trade it for anything.

I love bread most especially. I love to pair this with anything, bread and egg, bread and groundnut, bread and chilled drink or bread with avocado.

I enjoy most of the igbo dishes and enjoy all the soup except for bitter leaf soup. I will cook the soup for you but I won't join you to eat. I don't like the bitterness of it and not something I enjoy eating unless I don't have a choice then I can eat a little.

Another meal I don't enjoy so much is porridge yam. I hated the food while I was going to boarding school. We always have it on Tuesday night as night food. I didn't like how it was prepared and it's always small so I end up not eating at all. Since then porridge yam isn't something I enjoy so much. I don't enjoy eating it unless I don't have a choice then I will go for it.

Sometimes, early this year. I tried to eat other dishes too like Amala and Ewedu. At first I didn't like the taste. My first time tasting it, it tasted somehow but after I tried it the second time from a different restaurant. This time the taste was different and I enjoyed it more. The first one I tasted from the first restaurant wasn't prepared so well and it gave me that feeling, that's how it taste but when my friend persuaded me to have a taste for the second time I enjoyed it more. I would love to try more dishes, especially from different tribes but for my Igbo dishes. Swallow can't go wrong for me and my best soup is vegetable soup with eba.
