Hello everybody on Hive and especially the PukuMundo Community! My name is Jasper and I'm writing (and singing) to you from Cape Town in South Africa! I hope everybody is having a good start to the New Year?

I have been on Hive since about April last year, but it took me a while to figure it all out. I started contributing to HIVE Open Mic and Three Tune Tuesday (playing the songs live) about 20 weeks ago, and share my original songs on the Hive Music Festival platform. However, I’ve come to learn that if I want to sing a proper rock song, then I should come and do it here!

This is Week 50 of the “Singing Voice” or “La Voz Cantante” challenge, but it is my first time contributing. I thought I would start by singing “Creep” by Radiohead (not “Radiohead” by Creep as I accidentally say in the video with my mind spinning Haha!), a band I love… and you may catch me covering again… I promise not to only do Radiohead! Hahaha!

¡Hola a todos en Hive y especialmente a la Comunidad PukuMundo! ¡Mi nombre es Jasper y les escribo (y canto) desde Ciudad del Cabo en Sudáfrica! Espero que todos estén teniendo un buen comienzo para el Año Nuevo.

He estado en Hive desde abril del año pasado, pero me tomó un tiempo entenderlo todo. Empecé a contribuir con HIVE Open Mic y Three Tune Tuesday (tocando las canciones en vivo) hace unas 20 semanas, y comparto mis canciones originales en la plataforma Hive Music Festival. Sin embargo, he aprendido que si quiero cantar una canción de rock adecuada, ¡debo venir y hacerlo aquí!

Esta es la Semana 50 del reto “Voz Cantante” o “La Voz Cantante”, pero es la primera vez que contribuyo. Pensé en comenzar cantando “Creep” de Radiohead (no “Radiohead” de Creep como digo accidentalmente en el video con mi mente dando vueltas ¡Jaja!), una banda que amo… y es posible que me veas haciendo covers de nuevo… Prometo que no hacer solo Radiohead! ¡Jajaja!
