So. In the The Terminal Discord server (https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz), there is a room named hive-promo-redfish where every “redfish” could put the links to their posts. But only when they are given the rank of “redfish” which will turn their name to red. To gain the rank of redfish, one with low power who just joined the server will have to go through some interview before they are ranked “redfish”. That way they gain privilege to put their hive post links in the room.

But it is under one condition, before putting their links in the room : one should “support” at least one post which is already in the room, and mentioned the link’s owner they supported. “Supporting” could be in the form of visiting the post and giving vote or just write a comment or both. They can choose one if they can’t do both due to lack of power or RC.

Mention the name(s) you already support when you put your link to the room.

I love this idea. It is a cool idea to get more interactions between users. I myself thinks it is necessary to interact. That way another users will recognise me and there will be more chances to make friends. Oh yeah, making friends is important, I thing. By making friends I can get helps I need with problems I should face, for example when I don’t understand something I can get helps by asking. And to that cause was the The Terminal server established.

So, get related with others. Vote. Leave a reply. Reply back when someone reply on your post. Lessons 1.

The RC : Lesson Learned Dramatically
Hell, yeah, I like to comment under another user’s post. As I already mentioned, through commenting I hope I can get myself more exsposures. The thing is with my 25 HP, I didn’t really know that rapid commenting and voting drains my RC so fast. So yeah, today my RC level drained to under 10% after some votings and commentings. Yep! The lesson learned! Dramatically!

I communicated my problem in the server and @stayten was willing to help me with the RC problem. He then arranged something at https://giftgiver.site/ to lend me 15 HP as addition to 25 HP borrowed by @thekittygirl yesterday. Very much thanks, Cult Master @stayten (this is the honorary name I gave him, because I think he truly is running a cult). And he showed me how to check my RC so in the future I can manage my hobby of voting and commenting.
So yeah, need to keep both eyes open on the RC thing. Lesson 2.

Asking For Vote
Now I made some new acquaintances. Okay we will interact. Voting each others, replying, whenever we have power and enough RC. Asking for help when we face one. For a new arrival like me, many things need to learn, and that means lots of questions. I found out that the The Terminal server is helping a lot. I can see that they are always ready to help answering questions. That helps new arrivals like me a lot.
One thing not to be asking is for VOTE. Vote is gained. Not given, especially when it's asked. Asking for vote is like prohibited. We gain vote for the content we create. Vote is like respect from another users for what we contributed to the community. At least that’s what learn from @brittandjosie and @wesphilbin.

A Rush To Success
Last night I read this post of @brittandjosie : @brittandjosie/read-what-hive-is-and-what-hive-is-all-about-if-you-want-to-be-a-true-hiver. I got to know from it that she and her friends have been on hive helping new arrivals for more than three years. And they have met many “stubborn” new users who just come to hive and do not want to learn. These new arrivals think they could just come to hive and instantly make money on it. I myself don’t believe in instant success like that.

To success in hive is like in another place in this world. It needs learning, hard work. I believe so. So I agree with here that we need to learn. As @wesphilbin said in the server too, “I've been here since 2017, and STILL learn every day!”

So the lesson 4 are : don’t rush to success, appreciate process, take times to learn, ask questions, keep improving (the sky is the limit).
