Everything looks the same...

In a society that aims at comfort, it is increasingly common that we quickly want to anesthetize it. However, as the body teaches us, doing this can be dangerous.

I'm tired of everything looking the same: cars, phones, people. Everything is infested with minimalism, the aesthetic, which to fit in kills every sign of humanity, the different, the singular, and the simple and simple.

We are so afraid of being left out, of not fitting in that we give up our individuality, while feeling that we are special.

In an era of such superficiality, it is up to us to arm ourselves with courage to express what we feel, what hurts us and what matters to us.

Getting out of pain quickly is not always the solution. Pain plays an important role. To make uncomfortable, to show what is not working, what is broken or what is missing.

Without considering the fact that the body and the mind also have their own mechanisms to cope with pain, that if they are helped with external factors they atrophy and we are left depending on external aids for something that as humans we can well deal with.

No one wants pain, but it's time to learn to integrate it... Why, am I talking about this? Because everything that we leave without working inside, the people around us end up paying for. Above all, that anxiety that we never attended to, perhaps, that is paid by our partner in every fight that could have been a transparent conversation.

That childhood wound that we continue to carry is paid for by our children in the way we talk to them when we lose patience. Even that stress that we have been swallowing is paid for by our whole house with our bad mood. Does this ring a bell?

That's why, when someone tells me “I just don't have time to work on it,” I respond by asking: and do you have time for the consequences?...

Because let's be clear, repeated arguments, sleepless nights and frayed bonds consume much more time than any growth process. What we call "madness" today people, is actually tiredness, sadness, loneliness that is already urged before so much uniformity in everything, and it is too much and stretched too much.

A body that has been holding something for a long time, without anyone really asking "how are you", there comes a point when enduring it alone far from being courage is exhaustion disguised as strength. So if you identify with this, you know what to do. Suddenly we don't have the complete answers, nor the details, either, but at least we need to know what we want, what moves us and what we want to avoid. It's easier to start recognizing if what we have in front of us looks like that plan or not...

But, if life leads us to make decisions and we still don't know what we want, it's possible that someone else will decide for us (and although that seems to get rid of responsibility, it doesn't really, but I'll tell you about that in another publication).
