Facing the eve of destruction,
Inside our segregated parts.
Racism is our obstruction,
Continues ripping out our hearts.
Our war of pettiness and spite,
That will seemingly never end.
Have we forgotten what is right,
Too many of us condescend.
Color and race should not matter,
We are all the family of man.
We stand back watching it shatter,
Does anybody give a damn?
The blood of everyone flows red,
Our outer bodies are a shell.
Words of hatred still being spread,
Our world becomes a living hell.
The doomsday clock keeps on ticking,
The eve of destruction is nigh.
Do not waste time politicking,
While we are letting ourselves
