My First NFTs CryptoKitties!

So I've been wanting to make a post on this since I started dabbling with crypto a few years ago here and there. I won't share any of my woe begone tales about missing out on BTC at a dollar or anything. We all have them. What I will share is something I DID do instead.

After researching this new world of blockchain and all of the new and weird and interesting things attached to it I stumbled upon cryptopunks! ......... Alas I missed out on those as well despite there still being a decent number available and at prices that now seem quite reasonable! What I did find though was CryptoKitties. This was more of my wallets speed at the time.

I bought a cheap kitty on the market place and then rented a sire and after a quick minting I had TWO!!! Well that's pretty cool. My own breeding's can commence. I never really got into it or threw to much fiat after it, gas fees and everything being a huge turnoff. Although, through the years I would come back periodically and through 20 bucks at it here and there.

That leads me to today's post. I now have 14 #CryptoKitties. These were purchased seemingly at random by me through eye appeal and some misguided attempts at 'knowing' the game. I'm going to post some screens and links to my collection. What I'd really like is somebody that knows a little bit more about these or even #nfts in general that might weigh in and offer some valuation?

And that's it folks! That is my sum total of #CrytpoKitties. I know I don't actually have anything special here. It looks like the baseline price for a random kitty is around .005 ETH or 9.00ish dollars. There might be a few more dollars in some of them with neat environments or a superfluous amount of jeweled traits. I don't know though. I do have to #Fancy kitties though and they are worth (at least listed at) much more than the baseline model.

It looks like Snarky Marksmen is leading that pack with a current low list price of .042 ETH or about 78.00 dollars and Tally the Purrocious is coming in second at .026 ETH or 48.00 bucks! Maybe the whole lot is worth around 240.00?

I really wouldn't mind messing around with these more or even some more fancy kitty chasing if the gas fees weren't just so extreme right now. Anyways if you see a favorite drop a line on who they might be! Have kitties of your own, share them in the comments and I'll drop by and give them a like!
