What is defi?

I’m sitting here past bedtime with a glass of wine. I want to know.

Decentralized finance. It’s finance that’s not centralized.

We had this for hundreds of years. Thousands? When gold ruled it was king. Silver too.

It hurts my head. This APY. This land grab, I don’t understand it.

It’s hard to fully immerse in what you don’t understand.

I don’t understand mining, smelting, minting. Yet I hold these things these precious metals that mean nothing to me.

“Will it be Zombies” Hive account@bryan-imhoff? Will my Roman denarius make ends meet? My British Sovereign? Surely my trusty shibe.

If it all fell apart. There was no more staking or stupid apy or price jacking or as some would blame “Koreans”. Then what.

What am I do to with all this hive. It’s not that much. Not for me.

I think I make maybe low end $30 a month. High end when every dick is swinging $200. That’s a month.

That doesn’t tweak my noodle.

But I could sponsor like 1-5 kids with it. Now that’s something.

That might be something. Something worth wading through the slime.
