Maanyag Maramag:Capturing Maramag's Municipal Hall

Hello worldmappin family. I am back to share some experiences with you.
It was one of those mornings when the weather couldn't decide whether to be sunny or cloudy. As we rode our motorbike from Carmen, Cotabato, toward home in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, we decided to take a rest in front of the municipal hall of Maramag, Bukidnon.

The Maramag Municipal Hall is located along Sayre Highway in Barangay Poblacion, Maramag, Bukidnon, Philippines. This two-story government building sits in the heart of the municipality and is nicknamed the "Malacañang Palace of Bukidnon" due to its grand architectural design.(Online descriptions)

We chose to stop in this place, among other places, because the trees in this area are inviting. The spot offers a cool and shady break after the long and tiring ride.

This place is a favorite stopover for travelers. The air is so refreshing, the surroundings are peaceful, and you feel at peace and know you'll get a good rest.

Unknowingly, we'd arrived during their foundation anniversary! So the peaceful place we were expecting was transformed into a lively hub of activity.

We saw people dressed in ethnic attire of red, white, and black, children playing, and the buildings looking especially festive.

The Maramag Municipal Hall stood proudly, its pale yellow facade and red-tiled roof a welcoming sight.

The well-manicured lawns and geometric hedges added to the sense of order and tranquility.

Lush greenery envelops the area, creating a refreshing environment. The verdant trees form a natural canopy that provides shade and tranquility. These trees, though their details are unseen in the photos, create a refreshing contrast to the structured buildings. Most of the trees are already big, adding organic beauty to the place.

This is a charming public space. The ground is paved with interlocking bricks, creating a neat and organized pathway. The design of the area considers accessibility. The concrete stairs and handrails are designed to make the senior and other able-bodied friends feel welcome.

And it was time for us to continue our journey. But before we left, I couldn't help but notice that despite being a public space, the space is very clean and free from litter.
