Hello friends on Hive! How are you doing today? I trust that you had a fantastic weekend. Welcome to a new week which is also the last week of the month of July, filled with limitless opportunity. It's a great privilege to be awesome, alive and thriving. I warmly welcome you to my blog.

I feel so excited to participate in this week's contest, having been away for one or two weeks now. Which is also linked to the continuous rainfall we are experiencing for a couple of weeks now. Thankfully we have a break for a few days now which I call August break in July, lol.

The rate at which our surrounding is being filled with weeds within a short time baffles me.They grow so fast, even faster than the crops. Nutrients that crops need for their growth and nourishment, the weeds compete so hard for it with the crops.

Siting the overgrown weeds as I stepped out of my yard was not-too -good sight to behold, even though I admired its beautiful shadows printed on the ground. But what can a shadow hunter do other than to pick up her phone and capture the harmless image regardless of my emotion, hahaha.

After now it should be cleared. At least it has served me in an unplanned purpose. Sometimes the most useful things are those we considered useless.
