Procrastination Or Indecisions - Shadow Hunters community Contest - SMASH Round 430

“Procrastination, they say, is the thief of time.”

Sometimes we'd want to get some things done at a particular time but we keep feeling there's still time, and want to wait for a little more time. Forgetting the fact that putting tasks off doesn't really reduce the timeframe to get it done, nor does a lost time ever get retrieved.

When tasks are often put off, consciously and/or unconsciously we gradually continually repeat them. Overtime, we form it as a habit to procrastinate, because most habits are usually formed through consistently repeating them.

Sometimes I ask myself, is it really procrastination or indecision that brings about not doing things when we ought to? Because, I feel that when we decide to get things done, we'd do them even when the lazy guy inside us wants it done at a later time. Giving us lots of excuses to justify our reasons.

Some days ago while I was rushing out of my house to the office cause I was almost behind schedule. On stepping out, before me were clusters of shadows of rails of the fence. My instincts asked me to capture them, but another thought said I should ignore it, that I can always get it some other time.

Lately, I've been working at improving on procrastination. Truth is, you don't grow by repeating a habit you're struggling with. That singular reason made me spare a few moments of my limited time and captured the images. I'm glad I did, because after that day it's been raining after rain.

You see why procrastination is deceptive and a thief of time?

Happy Weekend!
