Enabling a Photo-commenting feature on Instagram App

Components

Instagram is a mobile and desktop Internet-based photo-sharing application that allows users to share pictures and videos either publicly, or privately to pre-approved followers. Instagram allows it users upload photos or videos by appling various digital filters to their images, and add locations to their posts.

They can also add hashtags to their posts, linking the photos to other content on Instagram featuring the same subject. Users can connect their Instagram account to other social media profiles, enabling them to share photos to those profiles as well.

Proposal

Instagram is majorly about visual experience. In as much as adding photos to post updates will make them more shareable; receive more views, appealing and gain more interactions; it stands to also reason that Instagram provides it users with a feature supporting photo-commenting, and it's built right into the website and mobile app. The whole idea behind this is to enable Instagram users make a photo-comment instead of just standard text, or post both a text comment and a photo when responding to a post.

This is an especially nice feature to have for birthdays and other holiday wishes since pictures of such lifetime occasion and event often say more than words.

Benefits

“A picture is worth a thousand words!” With Instagram being photo and video sharing application, a photo-commenting feature is important to further compliment it basic nature. Using photos and short videos as comment will make Instagram more engaging and interactive.
