A Sweet and Simple New Year at Home

Hi there, everyone! It’s me, Rhea again, and today I am going to share another unforgettable experience of mine. I hope you enjoy reading this one thank you!

It was December 31 in the morning when my mother asked me if what should we do or what should we display in our table for the welcoming of the new year. Since I am a just a simple person, I told my mother that we should make fruit salad, mango float, and just add some sweets and some fresh fruits into the table. Since my parents liked my idea, they then went to a nearby store to buy some ingredients for the mango float and for the salad. Anyway here’s the ingredients that they bought (Some mixed fruit, evaporated milk, condensed milk, all purpose cream, kaong or sugar plum, and graham biscuits).

Since I know how to make mango float, my mother told me to make them. At first I was like, I don’t know how but I already knew that it was so easy to make it and I was just overthinking and over reacting HAAHAHA lol.

Anyway here’s my mother with me, she also made some fruit salad with her own version (her fruit salad has grapes in it).

Anyway I started making my own version of mango float (I put a lot of mangoes in it lol). But unfortunately I didn’t took some pictures since my hands are so busy while making them. And tadaaaa! My own version of Mango float hehe.

After making my mango float, I then put them inside the refrigerator to make it cool and taste better. After that I then made a DIY decorations. I just printed out a letters and numbers and put some glitters on it.

And after that I then went to the kitchen to help my mother cook for our dinner.

Here’s our table by the way hehe. I am so happy that our table has lots of sweets hehe.

Anyway here’s Eya, my cat, I put some bow ties on her neck to make her cute hehe. Anyway she loves it I swear.

While waiting for the clock to strike at 12, I am busy with making our table look nice and presentable hehe.

We also took some pictures while wearing the lucky color of the year.

Hours passed and the clock strikes at 12 and it was now 2026! We then went outside to watch the fireworks from our neighbor and the fountain that my uncle bought.

It was so beautiful and enjoyable I swear. And since it was new year, we then went back to our house and celebrated the first day of the year. I was so happy and enjoyed being home with my family. I hope that this year will bring us more peace and happiness.
