I touch your cheeks
breathing
you are warm and I bind you to myself
we are breathing together
I get choked up, swaying softly
you're beautiful
not a sign of worry in your sleep

I touch your cheeks
to feel you
sound of your heartbeat
I press it against mine
like two tangled souls
forgot how to untangle

I touch your cheeks
and I kiss you
you wake up looking at me
it's night
