Patterns - Straight Lines | 直线

Following my last post about curves and circles in building patterns, let's have a look at some straight lines this time. I took these architectural shots in different seaside towns along Spain's Mediterranean coast.

The repetitive elements of horizontal lines, vertical lines, diagonal lines, and a combination of them caught my attention. The visually steady squares and rectangles, and the less rigid but more fluid inclines... I found all these shapes and patterns fascinating.

If you look closely, a few round lamps, windows and curved facades are actually present as well. I'm not sure if I can say that's typical Spanish, but I'm loving it!

上次分享了一组地中海岸边的建筑曲线，这次再来看看更多直线型的图案，也是拍自西班牙东海岸的一些小城。

水平线、垂直线、对角线，这些直直的线条排列组合成各种重复的元素。看上去四平八稳的正方形和长方形，还有仿佛在流动的斜面······ 都和那无穷无尽的碧海蓝天、无处不在的棕榈，还有常年干旱的山峦相映成趣。

其实仔细一看，圆窗、圆灯、拱门、弧形阳台之类的曲线仍然存在，似乎是板鸭国的特色，也是我很喜欢的细节。
