Tech details of HLS transcoding (live streaming)
Raspi3 using hardware acceleration transcode do a real-time/live stream at 720p (1.05x recorded, cpus idle). Can do 3x simultaneous 720p job at 0.6x, speeds back up as they end and cpus bouncy but not pegged. Using Hypriot 1.7 w/ 128-256g of GPU memory allocated.
