SIMON'S KITCHEN - Parsnip Puree
Are you tired of what you serve with your steak? No worries, here's a tip! A soft, sweet and salty puree that goes well with a lot of things.
Parsnip Puree
The perfect side dish for a piece of filet mignon, lamb, or even game meat!
Ingredients:
600 g parsnips
2 dl cream
2 dl milk
fresh thyme
salt & pepper
Instructions:
Dice the parsnips, place them in a saucepan, pour in the cream and milk.
Make sure the parsnips are covered, add more milk if needed.
Rim thyme leaves, stir in, season with salt and pepper.
Boil the parsnips until soft and blend with an immersion blender.
Season with salt if needed and serve this creamy mixture with your favorite steak!
Vegetarians can serve the puree with, for example, oven-roasted root vegetables and a hearty salad!
