A Whale Stranded in East Aceh
A 2 meter whale was found stranded on the shore of Kuala Leuge Village, Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, Monday (02/03/2020).
The fish was first discovered by a local resident named Hayatullah (48), at around 09.00 WIB in the morning.
Peureulak Police Chief AKP Muhammad Nawawi, SH said, when found by residents of the fish in a state of being stranded on the beach.
"The findings were then made known to the public," Nawawi said.
The people who knew, continued Nawawi, then evacuated him to the sea. However, the process of evacuation through the coast to the sea failed due to the waves.
"Furthermore, an evaluation was carried out through the channel using a boat. At around 11:30 WIB, the fish was successfully evacuated safely," he said.
