Dysthymia
I've been working on getting my Master's degree in Psychology and my current class is Abnormal Human Behavior. It's an intensive class with a massive textbook where we have to read 4 chapters a week. It's filled with disorder descriptions, etiologies, comorbidities, epidemiological discussions, and therapeutic interventions.
It's causing my brain to explode.
We also have to have knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
Every week we need to write a paper as well as participate in discussion boards. The final week of class has a 2 hour exam with 100 questions.
I'm exhausted and my brain hurts.
