Will You Live or Survive?

There is only one thing missing for the world to be complete.
We must get past the deceit.
If you look close enough,
you can see under all the bluff.
As one universe, there is only one reason.
It is not in the discomfort of each season,
but in that of treason.
Treason of what?
That feeling in our gut.
As we grow old,
our minds become a mould.
Neglecting our souls
for our delusional superficial goals.
When it comes to death,
we wish for one last breath
to spend more time with those we love,
for the nice car nor house behove.
That is our karma: inescapable,
but entirely shapable.
Our actions do not nod
what we claim to worship: god.
God put everything we need right here,
but we are still in fear.
Living in a paradox,
replete with schedules and clocks.
We end up full of disease,
with a piece of paper declaring our expertise.
Never having gotten to know our own minds, souls or bodies
while focusing solely on the confusion of everybody's.
Giving up our powers
to some cowards.
