What I enjoy most about Christmas. LOH 267 / Lo que más disfruto de la Navidad.

2️⃣ What is your favorite thing to enjoy during the holiday season, and why?

Christmas!!! A time for sharing and showing all your love to others—that's what Christmas means to me. I look forward to it all year long, not only for the decorations we put up around the house, not only for the delicious meals we share at the table, but for the atmosphere of love that fills the air throughout the holiday season. For me, it's like my birthday; I wake up so happy and spend the whole day excitedly receiving all the expressions of affection from everyone who wishes me a happy birthday.

I love seeing children open their gifts after eagerly awaiting them all day, and the look on their faces when they see the gift they unwrapped. It doesn't matter the wrapping, or whether it cost a lot or a little; they are happy seeing what they discovered inside that package, and their expression says it all.

We fill our house and our table with color and dishes that we only see at this time of year to welcome our friends, neighbors and family and share together in harmony for a day or two. We open our doors to everyone who wants to come and share and we give love because the atmosphere is full of that feeling.

Love, joy, and brotherhood are what fill my Christmases; it's a time to heal wounds and forgive those who have wronged us. Because it's a time for reconciliation and forgiveness, for love of neighbor and brotherhood.

2️⃣ ¿Qué es lo que más te gusta disfrutar durante la temporada navideña y por qué?

Navidad!!! Época de compartir y demostrar todo tu cariño hacia las personas, eso es para mí la Navidad. Esperada durante todo el año no solo por los arreglos que le hacemos a la casa, no solo por los platos deliciosos que compartimos en la mesa sino por el ambiente de amor que se respira durante toda la fecha decembrina. Para mí es como el día que cumplo años, me levanto muy alegre y paso todo el día entusiasmada recibiendo todas las muestras de cariño de todos los que me felicitan.

Me encanta ver a los niños abrir sus regalos después de esperar con ansias todo el día y la cara que muestran al ver el regalo que destaparon, no importa el envoltorio, ni si costó mucho o poco, ellos son felices viendo lo que descubrieron dentro de ese empaque y su expresión lo dice todo.

Nuestra casa y nuestra mesa la llenamos de color y de platos que solo vemos en estas fechas para recibir a nuestros amigos, vecinos y familiares y compartir juntos en armonía por un día o dos, abrimos nuestras puertas a todo el que quiera venir a compartir y regalamos amor porque el ambiente está lleno de ese sentimiento.

Amor, alegría y hermandad es lo que se respira en mis navidades, es un tiempo para sanar heridas y perdonar a quien nos haya hecho alguna ofensa. Porque es tiempo de reconciliación y perdón, de amor al prójimo y hermandad.
