Greetings to the shadow catchers, especially to Hive account@melinda010100, this is my entry for Shadow Hunters - Smash Contest 426

They say that the shadow is the reflection of what we hide, a dark extension that faithfully follows us no matter the light. Some claim that we must not step on the shadow — no one wants to challenge those myths.

Some cultures fear it, believing that stepping on it damages the soul; others see it as a second self that guards secrets the body does not confess; and others believe it is our protection.

Children play at catching it without success, while the elderly warn that losing it under the midday sun is not good. There is also talk that, on certain nights, the shadow comes to life and walks alone, reminding us that we all have an invisible side that we can never leave behind.
